Waking up this morning, with our feet stinging, from yesterday’s hike, but we’re excited to arrive later this afternoon (God willing) in ROME, our final destination!

Here are a few of our animal encounters along the way. Here, the gate is left open with the sheep nearby.
This beautiful horse got out of his field and was just standing in the road to greet us.
And a sweet Italian kitten.
Pilgrim Joe continues his way toward Rome.
Night fell and we were still hiking. The sky was beautiful, but we were glad to arrive at our room to rest from this very long (17 mile) leg.
Well, it’s time to pack up and hit the trail for our final leg on the amazing journey.
