Can we pray too much?  According to I Thessalonians 5:17, we’re admonished to pray, pray and pray some more and then, pray even more.

Now I know that you, like many, are busy and also easily distracted (I’m guilty of that).  So, it’s unlikely that anyone reading this blog today could actually …pray without ceasing. However, what we can do is PRAY MORE!  

Now, here is a quote from S.D. Gordon.  There is so much power in our prayer closet.

“Prayer strikes the winning blow; service is simply picking up the pieces”.

All throughout my day, I drift in and out of prayer.  Many times, those prayers may be mixed with a bit of fear and unbelief.  Those are the times I need to stop, find a good Scripture, apply it, and continue on with my day.

Here’s another powerful quote. I can’t remember who said it, but it is worth repeating…“If we really knew what happens when we pray…we’d pray more”. 

So, today, I encourage you to PRAY MORE!  Just writing this blog today is drawing me into my “prayer closet” to “practice what I preach” and pray more.
