STANDING BY & GETTING READY….
Today, we’ll be working on more Air Mobile Rescuers, preparing for whatever may be coming our way.
As we work, we are closely following the terrible flooding and landslides in Nepal. The devastation is staggering — 1,381 reported deaths, 5,130 people missing and presumed dead, and more than 5,000 injured.
THIS IS A MAJOR CATASTROPHE!
And once again, we find ourselves asking:
“LORD, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE US DO?”
On previous Air Mobile missions to Nepal, we built up an inventory of Air Mobile Rescuers. Those units are now being tapped as we consider how we might respond to this latest disaster.
We may need to replenish that inventory and prepare additional Rescuers for deployment.
Our Rescuers are designed to go where they are needed most — bringing the ability to make dirty water very clean and providing safe drinking water in the aftermath of disasters.
