As we come to the close of our “Italy Mission”, we’re having some very relaxing days to recover from the 109.69 mile epic hike on the Via Francigena.
Rome is a spectacular city of astounding historical depth and beauty.
Yesterday, we took a nice ride, thanks to Uber, through the downtown area that is mixed with modern business and ancient, massive extraordinary architecture.
We ended up at the world-renowned “Trevi Fountain”. All we can say is WOW!
Tomorrow, Cindy and I fly to South Africa to continue this mission. We’ll be attending the Wedding of Garrett and Genique, dear friends.
Then, we’ll be deploying 3 Air Mobile Rescuers to MOSAIC, a wonderful mission to orphaned and abandoned children.
We’ll spend our last day here in Rome resting and doing a bit of shopping.
