9-25-25 Thursday 7:48 AM ( Italy Time) -Air Mobile on the Move – from Vitralla to Sutri, Italy- Report submitted by Air Mobile Joe
Cindy and I departed Vetralla, Italy yesterday morning in a light rain and pleasant temperature. Much of the spectacular route was absorbed in looking down at a 45 degree angle and watching out for pot-holes.
However, when we would look up, we’d find stunning views of ancient cities and grand castles….some dating back to 200BC.
The bells along the way are just lovely and heart-warming.
As we emerged from the forest, from the days walk, tired and weary, 35,544 steps, on the edge of the beautiful town Sutri, our final destination for the day, it was time to find a place to rest and eat.
Cindy went to work on searching for an Airbnb, we made a connection.
Our hostess, Laura, not only accommodated us, but came and picked us up and brought us to our apartment for the evening. The warmth and love that we’ve been shown along this trek has been incredible!
Today, we’re heading to our next town will be Montesarleo, about a 10 mile trek. Time to pack up and hit the trail.
