In the lovely little town of Montefiascone, we found the “Trail” to the “Via Francigena” .

This has been a long dream, of my Cindy, to walk this trail.  Well, here we are on the “Via Francigena”.

Yesterday, we checked into a lovely Hostel at the beginning of the “trail”.  We had a delicious pizza dinner and a good night sleep.  

We’re READY to HIT THE TRAIL! Had our cup of cafe’ and packing our back-packs and will officially begin the 100 km (62 mile) journey to Rome.
