From our “Retreat Cabin” in the Mountains of East TN – Report submitted by Air Mobile Joe.
“THIS IS THE DAY….”
Cindy and I arrived at Little Mulberry Baptist Church right on time yesterday morning. We had been invited to sing.
Our song would be “One Day At A Time,” one of my favorite songs. This is kind of special to me for several reasons.
First, I stopped singing when I was about 12 years old. Cindy has strongly encouraged me to sing with her. So, now, I’m singing — and loving it!
Next, with the battle I’m engaged in with cancer (Stage 4), every day is special. My prayer is that I continue to grow in grace and healing — ONE DAY AT A TIME!!
Well, here we are in Day 27 of the cancer treatment. I am surrounded by prayer and believing for a mighty miracle of healing. So far, I’m handling the treatment well. I’m just tired.
And here’s an update on the funding for the 6th “Rescuer” for Venezuela.
We are now up to $1,775 received, leaving a balance of $775. We are confident that our goal will be met!
So, here is another verse for the day:
“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
And that is exactly what we are doing!
THANK YOU for meandering down this road of life with us!!
