AFTER A SOLID WEEK OF MEDICAL TESTS….

After driving hundreds of miles to medical tests almost every day, it is time for a break. I had been poked and prodded and stuck multiple times and answered hundreds of questions. In the middle of it all, Cindy asked me, “what would you like to do this weekend?”

We decided on Cumberland Gap Folk-Fest!

I grew up on Daniel Boone & Davey Crocket, when Disney was Disney. Loved those guys and thought that walking their path to the West through Cumberland Gap would be fun. I could use a little fun right now.

So, after feeding our critters and doing our daily chores, we’ll head over to the Cumberland Gap “neck of the woods”. There, we’ll enjoy the historical path that hundreds of thousands of early pioneers walked led by the famous Davey Crocket & Daniel Boone.

What a nice way to spend a Saturday, with lovely weather and breathing the fresh air and simply enjoying life….in the midst of challenging medical issues. I know that JESUS IS LORD and MY LIFE IS IN HIS HANDS!
