Some time ago, during advanced flight training, I experienced a gear-up landing in our beloved mission aircraft—Ti Burik (“Little Donkey”).
On short final, a sudden wind shear hit before I could extend the landing gear. By God’s grace, I walked away with only a few bruises. PRAISE GOD!
Unfortunately, both engines, both propellers, and the cargo pod were damaged. Over the past months, Air Mobile has been faithfully covering repairs as we’ve been able, but we’re now at a point where we need help to finish the job.
For years, Ti Burik has proven to be one of the most effective tools we have—getting us into extremely difficult, hard-to-reach areas quickly, and enabling us to bring clean drinking water to places in desperate need. This aircraft has helped save countless lives.
Now we’re close—very close—to having her back in the air with:
- Zero-time engines
- New propellers
- Updated avionics
—making her an even more powerful and reliable tool for missions ahead.
Here is the remaining balance needed to finish the restoration:
- $73,000 – Final balance for both fully overhauled engines
- $40,000 – Two new propellers ($20,000 each)
- $5,000 – New cargo pod
- $10,000 – Labor to reinstall engines and propellers
- $5,000 – Avionics upgrades and updates
Total Remaining: $133,000
Yes, it’s a significant amount…
But once complete, Ti Burik will be fully renewed and mission-ready—a priceless asset for getting CLEAN WATER to those who are suffering.
Would you please join us in prayer as we believe God to bring this wonderful aircraft back into service?
And if the Lord leads you to give toward this need, we would be deeply grateful. Every gift helps push this life-saving tool one step closer to the skies again.
THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love, and support!
