9-18-25 Thursday 7:08 AM (US Eastern Time) -Air Mobile “Retreat Cabin” – In the Mountains of East TN – Report submitted by Air Mobile Joe

I never back-packed across Europe as a young man, as I was busy on the “Mission Field”.  But today, Cindy and I are embarking on a spiritual quest.

Here’s a brief description of the final 100 km (62 miles) of the “Via Francigena” – 

“The Via Francigena walk is an amazing journey covering the final 100 km from the hilltop town of Montefiascone. You will walk on the ancient pavements of the Via Cassia, some of which have remained intact for over 2,000 years”.

Today, we fly out of Knoxville to Florence, Italy to begin this wonderful trek.

We hope find comfort, healing and strength from our Lord Jesus all along the way.

Again, I’m so THANKFUL for new knees enabling me to make journey.

Well, it’s time to do the final pack and hit the road for Knoxville.

PS – At the end of this epic Pilgrimage, Cindy and I will fly to South Africa to deploy more Air Mobile Rescuer Water Purifiers where desperately needed.
