On this brisk morning (low 50’s), in the lovely mountains of East TN, it’s just good to be alive.

I can’t get over the beauty and peace that we enjoy here at our sweet “Retreat Cabin”.

Yet, we know that disaster can strike at any time.  It is for that  reason, that we prepare to deploy on very short notice.

Cindy and I are so THANKFUL for this lovely place, tucked away in the Smokey Mountains.
