Even though our hearts are broken from the loss of our 2 sweet donkeys, our ducks bring us great joy, and for that, we are thankful.
We had another “Close Call” yesterday. Yahn Gray, our production manager, was driving my Ford Escape yesterday to pick up some components for our well system when, he was signaled by a Fish & Game officer to pull over IMMEDIATELY!
The Escape was ON FIRE in the engine compartment. FORTUNATELY, this officer was in the exact right position to see the flames and warn Yahn. The officer pulled out his fire extinguisher and put it out before the flames could spread!
PRAISE GOD, for quick thinking and strategic positioning!
It looks like the Escape will likely be totaled. There is a lot of fire damage in the electrical system.
This little red 2014 Escape has served me quite well over the years and had 245,000+ miles on it. Time to get a replacement.
So, life goes on at our little farm and we’re GRATEFUL for the Hand of God being on us. We’re also VERY THANKFUL for your precious prayer, love and support!!
