Our “Rescue” Tennessee Walker horse (Phoenix) could barely walk yesterday.  Cindy, who was on the road yesterday, to FL and helped me, mainly with prayer.

I reached out to our good neighbor, Jason Sexton, a true horse expert. He quickly assessed the situation as an infected abscess.

We stayed with Phoenix through the night and was very glad to see him up, and moving very slowly, but moving.  

We’ve called our farrier, Moses, who is very skilled, who will come out  and fix Phoenix.

Meanwhile, our “Jenny” Donkey named Emerald is about to give birth.  We PRAY all goes well. So, just another day at our little farm. 

We’re keeping a close eye on Tropical Storm Erin.  Landfall projections are about tricky.  We’ll be ready.
