There has been a swarm of seismic activity taking place between the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico following the 5.9 Earthquake that struck just north of Punta Cana yesterday.
We’re keeping a very close eye on the region and we’re accelerating our building up of Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers in the event of another massive quake.
There are major tectonic plates in this region and we want to be ready to GO if a major quake hits.
Of course, I remember all to well the January 12, 2010 that struck Haiti and killed upwards of 250,000 people. When I think of that terrible earthquake, I can’t help but still cry remembering those horrible scenes and suffering.
