Yesterday morning, I drove to Knoxville and caught a AA Flight to Philly and then to Providence RI.
There were a number of flight delays but….I managed to pull into The Mill Church parking lot at 6:42pm for a 7:00pm service.
So glad to see my great friend, Pastor Eddie! I love this sweet Church!
After delivering my message, “CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE JESUS KIND”, I braved the heavy snow fall from Winter Storm “Jett” and slowly followed Pastor Eddy right to the home of Dennis and Barbara West.
Dennis recently slipped on ice and is in rehab. This was another reason to come to cold & icey & slippery & snowy Massachusetts.
I wanted to see my good friend, Dennis. Barbara and I will be going to the Rehab…if the road permits.
I must tell you, the road between Providence RI and Millbury, MA (45 miles), was just plain treacherous to this Louisiana Boy. I drove very slowly and my palms got very sweaty. But…with our Lord’s help, I made it in time to speak to the Church. God is good….all the time!
So, it’s time to try to get the Rehab and see my dear friend, Dennis.
