1-12-25 Sunday 7:43 AM (U.S. Eastern Time) – At home, in our “Retreat Cabin” – In the Mountains of East TN – Report submitted by: Air Mobile Joe
After Winter Storm “Cora” blew through our valley and dumped several inches of snow I’ve had the wonderful experience of slipping and sliding.
I can’t even get my Ford Escape up to our cabin thanks to solid layer of ice.
I’ll be happy when the temp rises a bit and melts the snow and ice and…we don’t get another hard freeze.
At any rate, our critters have water (thanks to a tank heater) and plenty of hay.
Now Cindy and Ari are already in sunny Florida enjoying the warmth that Florida gives.
Tomorrow morning, if the flights are still on, I’ll travel to Knoxville and catch an Allegiant flight to Florida. I need to personally pick up my renewed NASA Badge. There’s more to that story…I’ll tell more later.
Well, it’s time to throw another log on the old wood stove and have another cup of coffee.
As I say every day, and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!
