That AT&T Outage, even found my little cell phone tucked away here in the Mountains of East TN.

Had a doctors appointment and struck out without GPS Navigation.  Thought I’d be able to find the Hospital without it.  

Well, think again.  Had to drive around for a while to figure it out.  It’s amazing how much we depend upon GPS to navigate to almost anywhere!

About 6 hours after it went out, it came back again.  No one is saying just exactly what happened.  But, it is obvious, without Cell coverage…we’re in pretty bad shape.

Here is what AT&T said this morning….AT&T: INTERNAL ISSUE, NOT CYBERATTACK CAUSED MASS SERVICE OUTAGE 

I question the number of customers who were affected by this.  It looks like it was NOT THOUSANDS, BUT MILLIONS!

Well, we may never know the whole truth but….it serves to remind us to PREPARE for such outages and other mass failures in the days ahead.  

I know that Cindy and I are working on PREPARING, but we’re a long way from being adequately PREPARED!  

How are you doing, regarding your “PREPARATION” STATUS?  Something to think about, for sure.
