A SHARP BLOW TO THE HEAD…

Yesterday, Cindy and I were working in our Air Mobile office, hanging curtains and getting things in order.

Then, in a split second, everything changed!

I tripped over a curtain rod that was lying on the floor. I had a sharp knife in my hand, and as I fell, somehow the knife sliced into the top of my head.

I tried desperately to stop the fall, but instead, I crashed into a window sill, taking a hard blow to my head.

Cindy immediately went into “Emergency Nurse Mode” and rushed me to the Sneedville hospital.

Dr. Fisher, the Emergency Room doctor on duty, went right to work. He cleaned and treated the wound and closed it with 13 staples!

Needless to say, this was NOT exactly how we had planned to spend our Saturday!

But now I am back home, resting and recovering.

Once again, I am reminded just how quickly things can change—and how thankful I am to have Cindy by my side.

Most of all, I am thankful for GOD’S PROTECTION and for each one of you who faithfully prays for me.
