As I stood next to the pile of rubble and realized that someone may have actually lived in it, and perhaps were trapped in it, during the 185+ MPH horrifying winds, I can only imagine what it must have been like.
The truth is, this scenario had likely played out literally hundreds of thousands of times all throughout Jamaica, leaving trauma, and scars in it’s wake. So many had NO PLACE TO GO!
The MIRACLE is that so many SURVIVED!
When our Air Mobile Team arrived in Montego Bay on 11-4-25, we plunged into the hardest hit areas…Westmoreland, Little London & Black River, where Hurricane Melissa made landfall.
There, we found Orphanages, Churches and Community Centers, excellent recipients for the 10 amazing Air Mobile Rescuer Water Purifier that we deployed
This precious gift, of CLEAN WATER brought hope and help in so many hard-hit areas.
